Teeing Off, generally occurs between tee-markers; however, it may also occur up to two club lengths behind tee-markers. Should a player tee-off from outside the designated area in match play, there is no penalty, but the player may be asked to replay the stroke. In stroke play, a two stroke penalty applies, after which the ball is to be played from the appropriate area.
If a struck ball is deflected or stopped by yourself or your caddie, the hole will be lost during match play, or a two stroke penalty applied and the ball played as it lies in stroke play.
