Improve Your Left Handed Short Game

“You Will Look Like A Pro With

These Hot Golf Tips…”

In this lesson you will learn about how to perfect your left handed short game.  The short game consists of putting, chipping, and pitching.  These skills are absolutely necessary to play good golf.  Also keep in mind left handed equipment and skills are different from right handed skills and equipment.

“Perfecting Your Left Handed Short Game…”

A left-handed short game, like any other type of short game, is very important to a player’s overall golf score. This is because putting, chipping, and pitching can completely change the complexion of a round of golf if they are done effectively, as you can make up for other shortcomings in your game if you work on your left handed short game constantly. The more you work on these elements, the more your game will improve, making it well worth the time and you put in with your short game.

“Putting…”

Without a good golf putting game, you will struggle throughout your round, no matter which hand you lead with. Many golfers run into problems when they allow their putter head to open up too far and left handed golfers are no different.

“Chipping…”

Another major aspect of your left handed short game is your golf chipping, as you will need to utilize this skill when you are around the green. A good chip can put you in great shape on the green and give yourself an easier putt.

“Chipping is Vital…”

Chipping is vital because it is almost impossible to reach every green on a golf course in regulation, so a good golf chipping game can improve your chances of maintaining a good score. If you are every just short of the green, you can chip the ball into a better position to hopefully save par on the hole. When you chip the ball, you want it to land on the green as soon as possible, so you want to keep the shot low and give it time to run.

“Pitching…”

Your golf pitching is another vital part to your overall game because a good pitch can also put the ball into a great position on the green. The difference between a pitch and a chip is that a pitch typically travels higher and lands softly on the green.

Pitching will definitely be a useful tool for any left handed golfer to have because you can save a hole with a well placed shot.

Your left handed short game will improve over time if you constantly work on it and do not worry about the fact that you are using different clubs than everyone else.
